LAILAH BENZ, Shawnee Heights
A junior, Benz was a repeat first-team All-City honoree last spring as a sophomore for the 7-10-0 T-Birds and was also a first-team All-United Kansas Conference selection for the second straight season. Benz earned All-Class 5A honorable mention from the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association last season.
ZAHRA FRIESS, Cair Paravel Latin
A junior forward, Friess helped lead Cair Paravel to a 16-2-1 record last season, earning a spot on the All-City team for the second straight season. Friess earned All-4A-1A first-team honors from the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association in 2023.
DESTINY HIGGS, Washburn Rural
Higgs, a junior, earned All-Centennial League first-team recognition last season as well as All-6A honorable mention from the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association.
KATE HINCK, Washburn Rural
A junior forward, Hinck earned first-team All-City and All-Centennial League recognition for the second straight season. Hinck, who received All-6A honorable mention from the KHSSCA, helped the Junior Blues post a 15-5-1 record en route to the Centennial title
and a third-place finish in the 6A state tournament. Hinck was a starter for Rural's basketball team that finished second in 6A last week.
AVA HUSTON, Seaman
Huston earned first-team All-City and All-United Kansas Conference recognition last spring as a freshman midfielder after helping Seaman post a 14-2-2 record on the season.
KATHERINE KEYS, Cair Paravel Latin
A senior forward, Keys earned a first-team spot on the All-City team for the third straight season, was named the 4A-1A forward of the year by the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association and was also a first-team All-Kaw Valley Conference selection after helping Cair Paravel Latin post a 16-2-1 record in 2023.
HAYLEY LEGG, Washburn Rural
A senior captain, Legg has played on three Rural teams that reached the Class 6A final four, including last year's third-place team. Legg scored four goals with five assists last season and has 17 goals and 11 assists in her career. Legg will play collegiately at Truman State.
JILL LENHERR, Hayden
A senior, Lenherr is still on the mend from an ACL injury but is expected to return to the field for the Wildcats in the early stages of the 2024 season. Lenherr earned All-Centennial League first-team honors last season after helping Hayden post a 12-6-2 record and a third-place finish in the 4A-1A state tournament.
LAUREN SANDSTROM, Hayden
A multi-sport standout for the Wildcats, Sandstrom, a team captain, helped lead Hayden to a 12-6-2 record and a third-place finish in the 4A-1A state tournament last spring. Sandstrom is also a two-time 4A state doubles champion in tennis and helped Hayden finish third in the 3A state basketball tournament last week.
ELINORE STALLBAUMER, Seaman
Stallbaumer, a senior, is a two-time first-team All-City selection and earned All-United Kansas Conference first-team honors last season after helping the Vikings compile an 14-2-2 record. Stallbaumer was a member of Seaman's basketball team that posted a 23-2 record and captured the school's first Class 5A state championship since 1991 last week.
ISABELL VAN FLEET, Shawnee Heights
A junior midfielder, Van Fleet earned second-team All-Class 5A recognition last season from the Kansas High School Soccer Coaches Association for the 7-10-0 T-Birds.
ELAINA WOLFF, Hayden
Wolff, a senior midfielder, will serve as team captain for the Wildcats this spring after helping Hayden finish third in 4A-1A last season while posting a 12-6-2 record. Wolff has also been a multiple-time state qualifier in 4A-1A state wrestling for the Wildcats.
EMMA WONG, Washburn Rural
Wong was named the Centennial League newcomer of the year and received All-City honorable mention last season as a freshman after helping Washburn Rural go 15-5-1 on the year en route to a third-place finish in the 6A state tournament.
AVERY ZIMMERMAN, Topeka High
Zimmerman, a senior midfielder, earned first-team All-City honors for the third straight season last spring and also received first-team All-Centennial League recognition for the second straight year. An Emporia State soccer signee, Zimmerman was also a multi-time state qualifier in golf and the city champion last fall.
