Isaac is a Journalism student at Washburn University. Before Washburn, Isaac was a football player for Ottawa University.
Isaac is from Gardner, Kansas and credits Gardner for much of his success. Isaac has a variety of different experiences that contribute to his love of sports. Isaac recently joined the Topeka Golden Giants as the President of Baseball Operations and the General Manager of the team. Isaac also serves as a League Executive for Mid-Plains League Collegiate Baseball.
Isaac has served as a play-by-play radio broadcaster for the Mid-Plains League and contributed sports articles for KSNT News in Topeka. Before TopSports.News, Isaac was a freelance journalist for many different Minor League Baseball affiliates.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas and a graduate of Wyandotte High School and Southwestern College. Rick has been a sportswriter for more than 40 years, working in Baldwin and Ottawa before moving to The Topeka Capital-Journal in 1989.
The first sportswriter to become a two-time winner of the Kansas State High School Activities Association's Oscar Stauffer award and a five-time winner of the National Sports Media Association Kansas Sportswriter of the Year award, Rick has also received sportswriter of the year awards from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association, the United State Tennis Association Missouri Valley Region and other organizations as well as writing awards from the Kansas Press Association.
A six-time winner of the National Sports Media Association Kansas Sportswriter of the Year award, Kevin is a graduate of Wichita North High School and Kansas State University. He began his career as a sportswriter with stints at the Iola Register and Kansas City Kansan before moving to The Topeka Capital-Journal.
Kevin has spent more than 30 years as a beat writer and columnist.
Ms. Sherry Lundry
Sherry is a graduate of the University of Kansas, Bachelor of Science in Education. She was a University of Kansas Gymnast 1974-1977, a high school science teacher from 1978- 2000, a high school girls' gymnastics coach from 1978-1991, a girls' softball coach from 1991 to 2000, the Executive Director of the Sunflower State Games from 2001 to 2006 and Director of Media Heartland Park Topeka from 2006 to 2008.
Since 2008, Sherry has been Development Director at TARC.
