Rossville High School induct its inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame class during halftime of Friday's 7 p.m. Homecoming game against Cair Paravel Latin.

Rossville will induct four former Bulldawg stars into first Hall of Fame class -- 1980 graduate Ben Simecka, 1996 grad Jen Perine, 2008 grad Duane Zlatnik and 2014 grad Tagen Lambotte.

Simecka was a two-time All-State lineman for the Bulldawg football team and a prep All-American as a senior in 1979.

Simecka was also a state shot put champion in track and field and was selected to play in the 1980 Kansas Shrine Bowl before going on to play at Kansas.

He was a co-captain for the Jayhawks and earned All-Big 8 honorable mention.

Lambotte was a four-time state wrestling champion for the Bulldawgs and earned a national championship in 2011.

Lambotte finished his high school career with a school-high 164 wins and a 97 percent winning percentage (164-5).

He went on to wrestle at Iowa.

Perine finished her high school career as Rossville's all-time leading scorer with 2,162 points, the assist leader with 616 and the steals leader with 520.

Perine went on to play at Emporia State where she finished her career ranked No. 2 in assists.

She was a two-time All-MIAA honoree.

Zlatnik starred in football and wrestling for the Bulldawgs.

Zlatnik was a three-time state wrestling champion and finished his career with a 148-13 record and a school-record 110 pins.

He was a two-time All-Stater and Kansas Shrine Bowl pick in football and went on to play at Kansas, where he was a two-time All-Big 12 honoree.
