TSN Presents the 19th Annual Topeka Shawnee County Sports Awards/Hall of Fame Ceremony

TopSports.News will host the 19th annual Topeka-Shawnee County Sports Awards/Hall of Fame Ceremony at Washburn University. TSN is proud to preserve and continue this annual event to recognize our area student athletes.

2024 Shawnee County Hall of Fame inductees will be announced soon.

Our ten area schools will be asked to nominate one female and male candidate with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average as the outstanding student athlete for each of the categories listed below. Also recognized will be an outstanding female and male athlete from Washburn University.

TICKETS ON SALE MAY 1, 2024.

You must purchase your tickets no later than June 22nd. No walk-ins. No exceptions.

• Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
• Washburn University Student Union:
  • Doors open at 5 pm.
  • 5pm: Hall of Fame Reception.
  • 6pm: Dinner, Awards to follow.
• Tickets: 
  • On sale May 1, 2024.
  • $30 per person before June 15.
  • $35 per person, June 16 - 22 (Ticket sales end June 22!).
• Reserved tables of 8 available for $35 plus 8 ticket purchases:
  • $275 before June 15.
  • Must be reserved no later than June 15, 2024.
• Order online at TopSports.News accepting Credit card, PayPal and now Venmo (search business: TopSports.News). 
• Upon purchasing tickets your name will be placed on the admissions list at the door to check in.
• Keep your ticket receipt and bring to the event for verification.
• Nominees and inductees receive a complimentary admission and dinner.

TSN has assembled former Topeka Shawnee County Sports Council members, local school officials, and media personalities as an advisory council to review and select the category awards winners. This council will also select the 2024 inductees for the Shawnee County Hall of fame.
