Former Topeka West stars Marque Wilkerson and Trevion Alexander ended their high school careers with a bang, helping lead the Blue to a 125-106 romp past the Gold in Saturday's Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.

Wilkerson and Alexander, who led the Chargers to a runner-up finish in the Class 5A state tournament this past season, combined for 32 points and 20 rebounds as the Blue opened up a commanding 55-38 halftime advantage and cruised the rest of the way.

Wilkerson led six players in double figures for the Blue with a team-high 20 points and also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds while Alexander added 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Max Alexander (Buhler) added 18 points for the Blue while Zeke Mayo (Lawrence) and Jacob Hanna (Maize) had 16 apiece and Eli Wiseman (Belle Plaine) 13.

Former Campus star Sterling Chapman scored a game-high 26 points for the Gold while his Campus teammate, Steven Strong, had 22 points with six 3-pointers, Andrew Orr (Blue Valley North) and Drew Nicholson (Hoisington) 12 apiece and Lucas Hammeke (Hutchinson Trinity) 10.

Orr, who led Blue Valley North to the 6A state championship, is headed to Washburn University. Orr also grabbed six rebounds. 

The Blue took a 101-86 win in the girls contest, with Osawatomie's Amiah Simmons scoring a game-high 23 points for the Blue and Trego Community's Lili Shubert adding 17.

Grace Pyle (McPherson) led the Gold with 14 points.
