Washburn University men's golf will begin its eighth trip to the NCAA Men's Golf Championship on Monday at the Avalon Lakes Golf Course in Warren, Ohio.

The three-round stroke play portion of the tournament will last until Wednesday before the field is cut.
The championship event will begin at 7:30 a.m. Monday as each competing team and the individual qualifiers will play three rounds of stroke play
The Ichabods will be represented by Cade Uhlenhake, Dawson Wills, Jack Baker, Kade Prentice and Max Ullan.
There will be 20 total teams competing with a total of eight individuals, four from each regional tournament, for a total of 108 players
Following Wednesday's third round the championship field will be cut to eight teams for the medal-match play rounds.
The quarterfinals will be played on Thursday morning, with the semifinals following on Thursday afternoon as the field will be cut to four
The team national champion will be crowned on Friday morning, with the championship round beginning at 9 a.m.
The NCAA individual national champion will be crowned on Wednesday evening following the third round of stroke play
The last time Washburn qualified for the NCAA Men's Golf Championship was the 2020-21 season where they finished 12th out of 16 teams
In the 2020-21 appearance Topeka native Andrew Beckler led the Ichabods, tying for second place
Washburn's last time on the course came at the NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional Championship tournament from May 11-13 in Winona, Minn.
The Ichabods finished in fourth place out of 20 teams competing Washburn finished highest among all MIAA teams as well as all teams from the Central Region as they shot +26 for the tournament, finishing with a 878
Wills led the Ichabods, finishing in 11th place at three-over-par for the tournament. Uhlenhake was just behind Wills, finishing tied for 12th at four over par.
Uhlenhake, Wills and Baker were all named to the All-MIAA first team after the MIAA Championship Tournament and Wills and Uhlenhake were both named 2023 NCAA Division II PING All-Central Region selections
Washburn has competed in 12 total tournaments this season, including the NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional Tournament, and have finished in the top 10 as a team in every tournament.
