Five Shawnee Heights boys players scored between seven and 16 points as the T-Birds posted a 57-48 United Kansas Conference road win at Basehor-Linwood.

The T-Birds improved to 10-4 overall and 7-3 in the UKC while earning a regular-season sweep over the Bobcats.
Sophomore Jaret Sanchez scored 16 points to pace the T-Birds while junior Brennon Dodge joined Sanchez in double figures with 15 points.
Seniors Jeremyah Kendrick and Q Stovall added eight point apiece while sophomore Deacon Pomeroy had seven points.
BASEHOR-LINWOOD GIRLS 37, SHAWNEE HEIGHTS 33 -- No. 9-ranked (Class 5A) Shawnee Heights dropped a tough 37-33 United Kansas Conference road decision at Basehor-Linwood Tuesday night, with the T-Birds falling to 9-5 overall and 7-3 in the league.
The Basehor-Linwood win Tuesday night avenged an earlier 48-40 loss to the T-Birds. The Bobcatss improved to 10-3, 8-2.
Senior Riley Showalter led Shawnee Heights with 11 points while seniors Emari Doby and Taylor Rottinghaus added 10 and seven points for the T-Birds.

BLUE VALLEY NORTHWEST GIRLS 54, WASHBURN RURAL 52 (OT) -- Blue Valley Northwest held a 9-7 scoring edge in overtime to take a 54-52 non-league win over No. 4-ranked (Class 6A) Washburn Rural.
Rural, which fell to 9-4 on the season, led 21-14 at the end of the first quarter but the Huskies outscored the Junior Blues 12-2 in the second quarter to take a 26-23 halftime lead.

Northwest (6-7) led 37-31 at the starf of the fourth quarter, but Rural held a 14-8 edge over the final eight minutes of regulation to force ovetime.
Senior Brooklyn DeLeye led Washburn Rural with 19 points while senior Chloe Carlgren added 11 points and sophomore Tenly Bunck nine points on three 3-pointers.
Washburn Rural will be at home Friday to host Emporia in a Centennial League game.

WASHBURN RURAL BOYS 65, BLUE VALLEY 60 -- Washburn Rural improved to 10-4 with its third straight win, taking a 65-60 non-league road win at Blue Valley.
Junior Blues senior star Jack Bachelor scored 27 points while hitting nine of 13 shots from the field with three 3-pointers and going six of seven at the free throw line.
Sophomore Kaden Ballard added 13 points while going four of seven from 3-point range and sophomore Amare Jones chipped in with nine points.
Blue Valley (8-5) led 17-14 at the end of the first quarter and 36-33 at halftime before Rural used a 20-12 third quarter to take a 53-48 lead into the fourth quarter.
Both teams scored 12 points over the final eight minutes, with the Junior Blues hanging on for the win.
CAIR PARAVEL LATIN BOYS 52, KANSAS CITY CHRISTIAN 50 -- Cair Paravel Latin held off Kansas City Christian to post a 52-50 Kaw Valley Conference victory Tuesday night, with the Lions improving to 6-8 overall and 2-3 in the league while avenging an earlier overtime loss to KCC.
Cameron Brian had a career night for Cair Paravel, scoring 23 points with five 3-pointers and a four of four performance at the free throw line.
Jase Pavlik added nine points and Ben Roeder eight for the Lions.
Cair Paravel jumped out in front 16-7 at the end of the first quarter but Kansas City Christian cut its deficit to 23-22 at the half.
The Lions led 37-33 at the start of the fourth quarter and held on down the stretch.
Cair Paravel will be on the road to face Marais des Cygnes Valley on Friday.
KANSAS CITY CHRISTIAN GIRLS 35, CAIR PARAVEL 32 -- Cair Paravel played Kansas City Christian much closer than it did in an earlier 14-point loss, but the Panthers were able to take a 35-32 Kaw Valley Conference road win over the Lions.
Cair Paravel trailed 10-4 at the end of the first quarter, 16-13 at halftime and 24-21 at the start of the fourth quarter and the game remained close over the final eight minutes.
Freshman KellAnn Chada paced the Lions with nine points while junior Abby Kuder added eight points.
ROSSVILLE GIRLS 51, ST. MARYS 46 -- Rossville improved to 10-4 overall and 2-3 in the Mid-East League while avenging an earlier four-point league loss to the Bears.
Kinley Porter led the Bulldawgs with 17 points while Shyanne Haehn added 10 points, Kinsey Perine eight and Rylee Dick seven.
Rossville led 11-10 after the first quarter and took a 24-19 lead into halftime.
The Bears cut their deficit to 36-34 at the start of the fourth quarter but Rossville held off St. Marys with a 15-12 fourth quarter.
ST. MARYS BOYS 64, ROSSVILLE 56 -- Rossville dug itself a 28-12 first-quarter hole against St. Marys and never fully recovered, falling to 6-8 overall and 2-3 in the Mid-East League.
St. Marys (7-6, 5-1) led 45-27 at halftime and 56-38 at the end of the third quarter before the Bulldawgs outscored the Bears 18-8 in the fourth to get within single digits.
Sophomore Brock Bush led Rossville with 16 points while sophomore Saint Mildren added 14 points and freshman Jack Donavan with 12 points and three 3-pointers.
SILVER LAKE GIRLS 68, OSAGE CITY 40 -- Silver Lake improved to 13-1 on the season with Tuesday's 68-40 non-league romp past Osage City.
The Eagles, ranked No. 6 by the KBCA in this week's Class 3A state rankings, have now won six straight games.
Osage City fell to 10-6 on the season.
OSAGE CITY 55, SILVER LAKE 36 -- Silver Lake outscored Osage City 26-19 in the second half Tuesday night but the damage had already been done, with Osage rolling to a 55-36 non-league decision.
Osage City, which improved to 12-4, jumped out to an 18-6 first-quarter advantage and hit the Eagles with an 18-4 second-quarter lick to take a commanding 36-10 lead to the locker room at halftime.
Senior Troy Heiman led Silver Lake (4-10) with eight points while sophomore Jared Johnson added seven points and Spencer Johnson and Brody Deiter six each.
Landon Boss scored 27 points and Kaden Kirkpatrick 20 for Osage City.
