JO'MHARA BENNING, Topeka High
Benning, a senior, has received second-team All-Shawnee County recognition the past two seasons and was also a second-team All-Centennial League pick. Benning is also a softball standout for the Trojans, earning All-Shawnee County first-team honors.
ELLA BOLAN, Silver Lake
Bolan, a senior middle hitter/outside hitter, earned All-Shawnee County first-team honors and Kansas Volleyball Association All-Class 3A honorable mention last fall after helping Silver Lake post a third-place finish in the 3A state tournament, with the Eagles posting a 32-12 record on the year. An All-3A state tournament pick and second-team All-Mid-East League honoree, Bolan registered 317 kills with 62 blocks and 38 service aces.
TAYLOR BREES, Shawnee Heights
A senior, Brees was a second-team All-Shawnee County and All-United Kansas Conference selection last season for the T-Birds. Brees also earned first-team All-Shawnee County recognition in softball this past spring.
ALANA BREWSTER, Silver Lake
Brewster, a senior, received second-team All-Shawnee County recognition last season after helping Silver Lake post a 32-12 record and a third-place finish in the Class 3A state tournament.
NORA BURDIEK, Rossville
A sophomore, Burdiek was selected as the Shawnee County newcomer of the year and received second-team all-county and All-Mid-East League honors after compiling 312 kills and 181 digs in her first season of high school volleyball while helping the Bulldawgs post a 31-8 record.
CAMPBELL CHABOT, Seaman
Chabot, a senior, received second-team All-Shawnee County and All-United Kansas Conference recognition last season after helping lead Seaman to a 38-6 record and its first Class 5A state championship. Chabot also received Kansas Volleyball Association All-5A honorable mention.
LAYLA COLLINS, Washburn Rural
A senior leftside hitter, Collins moved up to the All-Shawnee County first team last season after being a second-team pick as a sophomore. Collins played a major role for Washburn Rural's Class 6A state championship team in 2022 and helped the Junior Blues reach the state tournament last fall, with Rural posting a 29-12 record on the year. Collins registered 291 kills wiith .232 hitting efficiency, 91.5 percent serving and 48 aces.
AVA ESSER, Seaman
A senior, Esser received second-team All-Shawnee County recognition last season after helping lead Seaman to a 38-6 record and its first Class 5A state championship. Esser received All-United Kansas Conference honorable mention. Esser also helped the Vikings win the 5A state basketball title.
ELLA FOSTER, Hayden
A junior libero, Foster moved up to the All-Shawnee County first team in 2023 after earning honorable mention as a freshman. Foster helped lead the Wildcats to a Class 3A sub-state championship match. Foster has compiled 616 total digs in her two seasons at Hayden, including 477 last fall. Foster had a 95.9 serving percentage over the '23 season with 12 aces.
KARSYN HASTERT, Cair Paravel Latin
Hastert, a junior, earned second-team All-Shawnee County honors last fall for the Lions after receiving all-county honorable mention as a freshman. Hastert is also a basketball standout for Cair Paravel Latin, earning all-county recognition.
KATE HINCK, Washburn Rural
A senior three-sport standout for the Junior Blues, Hinck earned second-team All-Shawnee County and first-team All-Centennial League honors last fall after helping Washburn Rural advance to the Class 6A state tournament and finish the season with a 29-12 record. Hinck, the Centennial League volleyball newcomer of the year, also helped Rural finish second in the 6A basketball tournament and a third-place state finish in soccer.
REAGAN McGIVERN, Hayden
A senior middle hitter, McGivern helped Seaman win its first Class 5A state championship last fall before transferring to Hayden for the 2024 season. McGivern moved up to the All-Shawnee County first team after earning second-team honors as a sophomore. McGivern was an All-5A State Tournament pick and finished the season with 123 kills on .273 hitting efficiency with 61 total blocks.
MAEGAN MILLS, Seaman
A senior outside hitter, Mills was named the Shawnee County player of the year after helping lead Seaman to a 38-6 record and its first Class 5A state championship. Mills was named the United Kansas Conference offensive player of the year for the second straight season and is an all-county repeat pick after being named the county newcomer of the year as a freshman. Mills earned All-5A State Tournament recognition for the second straight season. Mills was credited with 418 kills on .295 hitting efficiency while compiling a total of 62 blocks. Mills had 51 service aces and 197 digs.
BELLA REID, Hayden
Reid, a senior, earned a second-team spot on the All-Shawnee County and All-Centennial League teams last season after receiving all-county and all-league honorable mention as a sophomore. Reid also plays basketball and participates in track and field for the Wildcats.
KAYDENCE TORREZ, Shawnee Heights
A senior middle blocker, Torrez moved up to the All-Shawnee County first team last season after receiving honorable mention as a sophomore. Torrez also earned first-team All-United Kansas Conference honors while registering 155 kills for the T-Birds with 33 solo blocks and 78 total blocks. She also had 22 assists, 91 digs and a 97-percent serving efficiency.
