Cair Paravel Latin's boys basketball team improved to 9-5 on the season Friday night with a dominating 78-20 road victory at Marais des Cygnes Valley/
The Lions put the game away with a 24-8 second quarter, opening up a commanding 37-14 halftime advantage over the 1-11 Trojans.
Noah Hastert, a 6-foot-6 junior, scored a game-high 24 points and added 14 rebounds and 6 steals for Cair Paravel while junior Zachary Clark had 18 points and sophomore Luke Fay 11.

Junior Jaley Barkley led the way with a game-high 24 points, including 4 3-pointers, as Cair Paravel Latin's girls improved to 5-6 with a 50-21 road win over the Trojans.
The Lions took control early, taking a 25-8 lead at halftime over MdCV (1-11) and held a 25-13 scoring edge the rest of the way.
Junior Lauren Drum added 10 points for Cair Paravel.
