Washburn and Newman were tied 4-4 midway through the opening quarter, but the Ichabods closed out the quarter with a 10-2 run to take a 14-6 lead.

Newman tied the game at 22 with 2:08 left in the first half, but Washburn ended the half with a 6-0 run to take a 28-22 halftime advantage.

The Ichabods then proceeded to put the Jets away with a 23-11 third quarter, including a 14-2 run over the final 3:50, while hitting 5 of 6 3-point attempts in the period.

Washburn started the fourth quarter with a 51-33 cushion and cruised the rest of the way.

All 16 available Ichabods saw action against the Jets.

Faith Mason-Vestal was the only Newman player to finish in double-figures, scoring 12 on the night.

The Ichabods will wrap up their road trip on Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. contest at Central Oklahoma.
