HUNTER BENTLEY, Washburn University
A senior guard, Bentley scored 34 points in two games on the week for the Ichabods en route to becoming the 24th member of Washburn women's basketball 1,000-point club. Bentley scored a game-high 21 points (4 3-pointers) in a 73-49 win over Lincoln and reached her career milestone with 13 points (3 3-pointers) in a 64-55 loss to Emporia State.
NOAH HASTERT, Cair Paravel Latin
Hastert, a 6-foot-6 junior, scored 19 points and also contributed 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals as Cair Paravel improved to 7-3 on the season with a 74-45 road victory at Burlingame, the Lions' 4th straight victory.
ROMAIN HENRY, Washburn University
Henry, a freshman track standout from Aix En Provence, France, broke his own school record in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.12 seconds, recording an NCAA provisional mark with the 5th-fastest time in the nation this season en route to his second straight win in that event. Henry placed 2nd in the 400-meter dash, breaking the school record in a time of 49.41.
BRYLEE PROCKISH, Shawnee Heights
Prockish, a senior, bowled a career-high 656 three-game series, including a high game of 256, to take individual honors in the Lansing triangular at Crown Lanes in Leavenworth. Prockish, a Newman signee, followed that up with an individual win in the Hayden meet at West Ridge Lanes with a 496 series. Heights won the team title in both events.
CADEN WALKER, Shawnee Heights
A junior 160-pound wrestler, Walker went a perfect 5-0 in the Gerald Sadowski Tournament at Holton Saturday with five first-period wins by fall, including pins in 11 and 44 seconds. Walker also recorded pins in 1:06, 1:08 and 1:44. Walker is ranked No. 2 in Class 5A in the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association state rankings.
MARQUE WILKERSON, Topeka West
A senior guard, Wilkerson scored 74 points in three Topeka Invitational Tournament games, posting game-high performances in all three games. Wilkerson had 27 points in a 60-59 loss to Shawnee Mission North, 22 in a 67-57 win over Highland Park and 25 points in a 69-62 win over Hayden.
