Shawnee Heights seniors Harvey Davis and Isiah Johnson and junior Nate Pewe have received recognition on the 2020-21 All-United Kansas Conference boys basketball team, selected by UKC coaches.

Davis and Johnson were both named to the All-UKC second team while Pewe received honorable mention.

Class 5A state semifinalist De Soto dominated the all-league balloting, with Wildcat senior Wyatt Noll named the player of the year while Matt Rice was named the UKC coach of the year.

The Wildcats put Noll and senior Nate Barnhart on the All-UKC first team along with Lansing seniors Peyton Basler and Malik Benson, Basehor-Linwood junior Jordan Brown and Leavenworth junior Tyrese Cannon.

Davis and Johnson were joined on the second team by juniors Carter Bergman and Trevor McBride of Basehor-Linwood, Leavenworth junior JaiKuan Darthard of Leavenworth and senior Jackson Miller of De Soto.

De Soto dropped a 61-57 decision to Topeka West in the 5A semifinals, finishing third at state.

Shawnee Heights was hampered by COVID-19 quarantine and injury issues throughout the season, finishing with a 6-11 record.
