Class 6A state tournament qualifier Washburn Rural and 5A qualifier Seaman combined to earn 11 first-team berths on the 2021 All-Shawnee County baseball team.

The Centennial League-champion Junior Blues (17-6) are represented by seniors Cooper Carlgren (pitcher), Davan Brady (infielder), Andre Chavez (outfielder), Brady Patterson (catcher) and Hunter Vondemkamp (utility) and junior Brock Howard (infielder) while Seaman (19-4) put seniors Kevin Mannell (pitcher), Cole Askew (outfielder) and Kolden Howerton (outfielder), junior Dagen Brewer (infielder) and sophomore Bryson Vawter (designated hitter) on the first team.

Washburn Rural's Carlgren was tapped as the Shawnee County pitcher of the year while Seaman's Askew earned the player of the year award and Rural's Jay Mastin was named coach of the year.

Also earning spots on the all-county team are senior pitcher Connor Pruyser and senior outfielder Trent Reamer of Silver Lake, senior pitcher Chase Carson of Shawnee Heights and junior infielder Max Colombo of Topeka High.

Rural's Howard and Vondemkamp both earned first-team All-Class 6A recognition from the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches while Seaman's Askew, the Centennial League player of the year, earned first-team honors in 5A and Silver Lake's Pruyser was a first-teamer in 3A.

Rural's Carlgren and Patterson were second-team selections in 6A while Seaman's Mannell, Brewer and Vawter were second-team picks in 5A. 

Silver Lake's Reamer was a second-team All-3A selection by the KABC while Howerton earned All-5A honorable mention.

Heights' Carson was a second-team All-United Kansas Conference selection while Topeka High's Colombo led the Trojans to a break-through 15-7 season this spring.
