Six Silver Lake and Rossville baseball standouts earned first-team honors on the All-Big-East League team after the Eagles and Bulldawgs both advanced to state tournaments this spring.

Silver Lake, which competed in the Class 3A state tourney, is represented on the first team by senior catcher Cooper Campidilli, senior pitcher Logan Cathcart and senior infielder Dysen Schooler, with Campidilli and Cathcart both unanimous all-league picks.

Rossville, which advanced to state in 2A-1A, put sophomore pitcher Cael Horgan, junior pitcher Cameron Miller and senior outfielder Logan Kufahl on the first team.

Silver Lake junior outfielder Brady Hogle, Rossville junior infielder Canann Mitchell and Bulldawg junior utility player Conner Bush made the all-league second team while Silver Lake junior infielder Dayne Johnson received honorable mention.
