Washburn Rural, which dominated the city boys swimming championships, earned nine of 13 spots on the 2020-21 All-City team, based on performances in the city meet.
The Junior Blues, who won nine of 12 events in the city meet, are represented on the All-City team by seniors Keats Larson, Yeager Larson and Marquel Russell, juniors Dagen Clouse, Jalen Eilert and Nathen Trachta, sophomore Cordell Dimick and freshmen Brogan Meier and William Powell.

Nine Rossville and Silver Lake players have received All-Mid-East League basketball recognition, including three first-teamers.
Rossville freshmen Emma Mitchell and Kinsey Perine and Silver Lake freshman McKinley Kruger were named to the All-Mid-East girls first team while Silver Lake sophomore Mariah Farmer and freshman Makenzie McDaniel received honorable mention.

A 6-foot-4 senior, Alexander was named tri-Centennial League boys basketball player of the year after leading Topeka West to a 21-3 record in the Class 5A state tournament, only the third time in Topeka West history the Chargers advanced to the state championship game.

Berry, a 6-3 senior, was named tri-Centennial League boys basketball player of the year after being named co-league player of the year as a junior. Berry led Washburn Rural to a 14-7 record this past season and received all-league recognition for the third straight year..

NiJaree Canady, a 6-foot junior, earned the Centennial League girls player of the year honor for the second straight season after leading Topeka High to the undefeated league championship, a second-place finish in the Class 6A state tournament and a 23-2 record overall.
Canady, who averaged 20.6 points and 12.3 rebounds, was joined on the all-league first team by sophomore Kiki Smith and senior Lilly Smith in balloting by league coaches.

Washburn Rural (16-3) put sophomore Brooklyn DeLeye and junior Emma Krueger on the first team while Emporia junior Gracie Gilpin rounded out the first team.

Seaman, which won Centennial League and Class 5A-1A regional championships before posting a third-place state finish, earned three spots on the 2021 All-City boys bowling team, selected by city coaches.
The Vikings are represented on the All-City team by senior DJ Birkenbaugh, junior Jack Easum and sophomore Ethan Burns while Shawnee Heights junior Aidan VanMetre, Washburn Rural senior Jacob Morgan and Topeka West senior Zach Phillips also earned first-team spots.
