Bentley, a senior, scored a game-high 27 points Saturday as Washburn ended a layoff of more than three weeks with a 61-49 MIAA road victory at Missouri Western. Bentley went 8 of 13 from the field, with four 3-pointers, and hit all seven free throw attempts.

Coming off an injury, the Charger junior scored 28 points with three 3-pointers as Topeka West's boys remained unbeaten with a 78-60 come-from-behing Centennial League win over Hayden on Friday and scored 29 points in West's 76-50 win over Emporia on Tuesday.

Canady, a junior, scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Topeka High's 92-34 Centennial League win over Junction City Saturday and followed that up with 22 points in Monday's 72-33 win over Hayden as the Trojans improved to 5-0.

Clark, a junior, scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds Monday night as the Lions rallied from a 15-point deficit to take a 75-65 win over Kansas City Christian. Clark scored 25 points last Friday in an 83-75 loss to Olathe Heritage Christian.
