Seaman, top-ranked in Class 5A by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, captured the tournament championship in last week's Glacier's Edge Tournament, taking a 46-43 win over tournament host Emporia on junior Taylin Stallbaumer's buzzer-beating 3-pointer in Saturday's championship game. Freshman Maddie Gragg scored 16 points and Stallbaumer 15 against Emporia while sophomore Anna Becker was named the tournament Most Valuable Player. Piper has posted three straight wins, including a 62-50 win over De Soto in the Pirates' last game. Seaman beat Piper 63-35 in an earlier meeting.

KC-WASHINGTON (3-7, 2-4) at HIGHLAND PARK (8-3, 4-0)

League-leading Highland Park will return to Meadowlawk Conference play after a 75-7 non-league romp past Kansas City-East, Mo. last Friday. Washington is coming off a 67-18 win over Kansas City-Northeast, Mo. Sophomore Amelia Ramsey leads Highland Park, which has not had a Meadowlark Conference game closer than 16 points. The Scots have won their last three games.

LANSING (3-9, 2-7) at TOPEKA WEST (3-10, 2-8)

Topeka West finished sixth in last week's Firebird Classic at Free State, posting a 1-2 record. The Chargers took a 46-40 consolation win over Great Bend last Friday before dropping a 59-53 decision to Wichita Northwest in Saturday's consolation final. Lansing is coming off a 49-45 win over Jefferson West.

BLUE VALLEY NORTHWEST (5-7) at WASHBURN RURAL (9-3)

Washburn Rural went 2-1 in last week's Thunderbird Classic at Shawnee Heights, including a 44-28 romp past Hutchinson in Saturday's third-place game. The Junior Blues' lone tournament loss was a 10-point semifinal decision to No. 1-ranked and undefeated Shawnee Mission South. Senior Brooklyn DeLeye surpassed 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in the tournament while scoring a total of 59 points in Rural's three tournament games. Blue Valley Northwest took a 47-27 win over Centennial League member Junction City last Friday.  

SHAWNEE HEIGHTS (9-4, 7-2) at BASEHOR-LINWOOD (9-3, 7-2) 

Shawnee Heights went 2-1 in last week's Thunderbird Classic to finish fifth. After dropping a three-point decision to tournament runner-up Wichita South in the first round, the T-Birds bounced back with a consolation win over Shawnee Mission North and took a 45-43 decision over Wichita Life Prep in Saturday's fifth-place game. Shawnee Heights faces United Kansas Conference rival Basehor-Linwood for the second time this season, with the T-Birds taking a 48-40 win over the Bobcats in the earlier meeting. Both teams are 7-2 in the league race, with Basehor-Linwood coming off a 56-52 win over De Soto.  

KANSAS CITY CHRISTIAN (5-8, 3-1) at CAIR PARAVEL LATIN (4-9, 1-3)

Tuesday night's game is a Kaw Valley Conference rematch, with Kansas City Christian taking a 40-26 win over Cair Paravel in the earlier meeting. Cair Paravel is coming off a 38-17 win over Maranatha Academy, avenging an earlier loss. Freshman KellAnn Chada led the Lions with 13 points, including three 3-pointers. Kansas City Christian is coming off a 52-32 Kaw Valley Conference decision over Bishop Seabury.

OSAGE CITY (10-5) at SILVER LAKE (12-1)

Silver Lake has posted five straight victories, winning the recent Burlington Invitational and posting regular-season wins over Santa Fe Trail and Sabetha last week. The Eagles are coming off a 68-39 win over Sabetha last Friday night. Silver Lake was ranked No. 7 in last week's Class 3A  KBCA state rankings.

ROSSVILLE (9-4, 1-3) at ST. MARYS (5-7, 2-3)

Rossville bounced back from an overtime semifinal loss to Atchison County to finish third in the Jefferson County North Invitational, rolling to a 58-28 win over Northeast Kansas Homeschool in the third-place game. The Bulldawgs held a 32-10 scoring edge in the second half, including a 10-0 shutout in the fourth quarter. Junior Emma Mitchell led Rossville with 23 points, including a six of six performance at the free throw line, while freshman Rylee Dick added nine points and junior Kinsey Perine eight. Mitchell, Dick and Perine were all named to the all-tournament team.
