Washburn Rural posted its fourth straight win on Friday night, a 56-32 Centennial League win over Hayden. Senior Brooklyn DeLeye led the Junior Blues with 17 points while junior Zoe Canfield added 15 points and sophomore Kate Hinck 11 points with three 3-pointers. Topeka High is coming off a 51-40 league loss to Emporia, which ended the Trojans' seven-game winning streak. Senior Kiki Smith led High with 13 points while junior Ayana Leesman added 11 points.

KC-TURNER (0-6, 0-5) at SHAWNEE HEIGHTS (5-1, 5-1)

Shawnee Heights ran its winning streak to five games in last Friday's 49-23 United Kansas Conference win at Lansing. Senior Emari Doby paced the T-Birds with 15 points while senior Taylor Rottinghaus added 13 points. Shawnee Heights is a game behind unbeaten Seaman in the UKC race. Turner is coming off a 47-12 UKC loss to Basehor-Linwood, remaining winless on the season.

WABAUNSEE (1-4, 0-2) at SILVER LAKE (6-0, 4-0)

Silver Lake is coming off a 59-30 Mid-East League victory over previously-unbeaten Rock Creek last Friday after knocking off previously-unbeaten Rossville on Tuesday. Junior McKinley Kruger scored 18 points and grabbed four rebounds for the Eagles against Rock Creek while junior Makenzie McDaniel had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Wabaunsee is coming off of a 42-22 Mid-East League loss to St. Marys.

 HAYDEN (3-3, 0-2) at JUNCTION CITY (1-7, 0-2)

Hayden is coming off a a 56-32 home Centennial League loss to defending Class 6A state champion Washburn Rural last Friday while Junction City is coming off of a 47-25 league loss to Manhattan. Sophomore Kaliya Fulton led Hayden with nine points and a pair of 3-pointers against Washburn Rural while juniors Avery Grunert and Lauren Sandstrom added eight points each. Grunert hit a pair of 3-pointers for the Wildcats. 

HIGHLAND PARK (3-1, 2-0) at KC-SUMNER ACADEMY (7-1, 4-0)

Highland Park posted its third straight win overall and its second in the Meadowlark Conference last Friday, taking a 56-40 road win at Atchison. Seonna Gowan-Britt had a breakout game for the Scots, scoring 16 points, including 14 points in the third quarter with four 3-pointers. Kansas City-Sumner Academy is coming off of a 48-31 conference win over KC-Wyandotte.

ROSSVILLE (6-1, 1-1) at ROCK CREEK (6-1, 3-1)

Rossville bounced back from its first loss of the season against Silver Lake with a 52-36 Mid-East League win over Riley County last Friday while Rock Creek suffered its first loss of the season, a 59-30 defeat against undefeated Silver Lake. Junior Emma Mitchell scored 17 points fpr Rossville against Riley County while freshman Rylee Dick added 12 points and junior Kinley Porter 10 for the Bulldawgs.

SEAMAN (6-0, 5-0) at BASEHOR-LINWOOD (5-3, 3-2)

Seaman remained unbeaten with a convincing 60-26 home United Kansas Conference romp past Leavenworth last Thursday while Basehor-Linwood rolled to a 47-12 UKC decision over Kansas City-Turner last Friday. Junior Taylin Stallbaumer paced Seaman with 15 points and three 3-pointers against Leavenworth while sophomore Anna Becker added 10 points and Brooklyn Gormley and Maddie Gragg nine points each. 

CAIR PARAVEL LATIN (2-4) at KANSAS SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF (5-0)

Cair Paravel Latin dropped a 40-26 Kaw Valley Conference decision at Kansas City Christian last Friday while Kansas School for the Deaf beat Colorado School for the Deaf on Saturday, 50-45. Freshman Karsyn Hastert led Cair Paravel with eight points and junior Josie Barkley added six points in the Lions loss to KCC.
