Rossville's boys basketball team rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to take a 60-57 Mid-East League win over Riley County Friday night.

Riley County led 21-14 at the end of the opening quarter and took a 35-27 advantage to the locker room at halftime before the Bulldawgs outscored the Falcons 33-22 in the second half.
Rossville still trailed 46-41 at the start of the fourth quarter but outscored the Falcons 19-11 over the final eight minutes to improve to 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the league.
Sophomore Jack Donovan and junior Mason Jones scored 13 points apiece to lead the Bulldawgs while junior Tayson Horak added 11 points with a pair of 3-pointers and sophomore Cameron Miller and junior Kameron Badura scored 10 points apiece.
ROSSVILLE GIRLS 40, RILEY COUNTY 33
Rossville and Riley County were deadlocked 20-20 at halftime before the Bulldawgs outscored the Falcons 20-13 in the second half to pull out the Mid-East League victory.
The Bulldawgs, No. 4-ranked by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, led by just two points at the start of the fourth quarter before outscoring Riley County 14-9 the rest of the way.
Sophomore Rylee Dick and freshman Nora Burdiek scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Rossville, which improved to 6-1 overall and 1-1 in the Mid-East League.

SEAMAN GIRLS 56, LEAVENWORTH 25
Junior Anna Becker had 21 points, seven steals and six rebounds to lead the way as Seaman rolled to a 56-25 United Kansas Conference win at Leavenworth.
Sophomore Maddie Gragg scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds while senior Taylin Stallbaumer scored 11 points and had five steals and junior Ava Esser grabbed seven rebounds.
Seaman, ranked No. 3 in 5A by the KBCA, improved to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the UKC.
SEAMAN BOYS 60, LEAVENWORTH 55
Seaman survived second and fourth-quarter Leavenworth rallies to hold on for a 60-55 United Kansas Conference road victory over the Pioneers.
Seaman opened up a 21-9 first-quarter lead but Leavenworth cut its deficit to 26-23 at the half.
The Vikings pushed their lead back to double-digits (45-34) at the end of the third, but Leavenworth mounted another push to get within five.
Seaman, ranked No. 10 in Class 5A by the KBCA, improved to 3-2 overall and in the UKC while Leavenworth fell to 0-7, 0-4.
CAIR PARAVEL LATIN BOYS 68, MARANATHA ACADEMY 52
Cair Paravel only led by two points (14-12) at the end of the first quarter, but the Lions pushed its lead to 32-20 at the half and 57-34 at the start of the fourth quarter.
The Lions improved to 4-3 overall in their 2024 debut.
MARANATHA ACADEMY GIRLS 53, CAIR PARAVEL LATIN 40
Cair Paravel Latin led 23-21 at halftime before Maranatha Academy outscored the Lions 32-19 in the second half, including an 18-8 fourth quarter, to take control.
CPLS fell to 1-6 on the season while Maranatha improved to 5-1.

SILVER LAKE GIRLS 62, ROCK CREEK 28
Silver Lake, top-ranked in Class 3A by the KBCA, improved to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Mid-East League with Friday's 62-28 league win over Rock Creek.
Silver Lake was in control after an 18-3 opening quarter and led 30-11 at the half and 53-18 at the end of the third quarter.
Seniors Makenzie McDaniel and McKinley Kruger scored 19 points apiece for Silver Lake while Kailyn Hanni added nine points.
ROCK CREEK BOYS 51, SILVER LAKE 38
Silver Lake was in the hunt through the first three quarters before Rock Creek pulled away for the 13-point win with a 13-6 fourth quarter.
Silver Lake trailed 15-12 at the end of the first quarter, 29-25 at the half and 38-32 at the start of the fourth quarter.
Senior Elijah Lopez scored 12 points and junior Brody Deiter 11 for the Eagles.
Silver Lake fell to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the Mid-East League while Rock Creek improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the league.
