Friday night's game between the Vikings and Indians has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. Seaman has not played since a 68-47 Centennial League win over Topeka High last Friday.
HIGHLAND PARK (8-0, 7-0) at TOPEKA WEST (6-1, 5-1)
Highland Park, No. 2-ranked in Class 5A by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, went on the road Tuesday night and handed Junction City its first loss of the season, 70-54, while No. 5-ranked Topeka West is coming off a 71-57 Centennial League road win at Emporia. Senior Juan'Tario led Highland Park with a game-high 24 points against Junction City while junior Ketraleus Aldridge added 18 points and junior Tre Richardson 10 points for the Scots. Senior Elijah Brooks scored a game-high 21 points for West against Emporia while junior Xavier Alexander added 18 points with five 3-pointers and senior Zander Putthoff added 17 points with three 3-pointers.
EMPORIA (0-8, 0-7) at HAYDEN (1-5, 1-5)
After having Tuesday's game against Topeka High postponed, Hayden is scheduled to be back in action in Friday's boys-only Centennial League game against the Spartans. The junior varsity game will start at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity contest at approximately 6 p.m. Emporia is coming off a 71-57 league loss to Topeka West on Tuesday. Parker Leeds and River Peters both scored 20 points for the Spartans against Topeka West. Hayden's most recent game was a 70-54 loss to Topeka West last Friday, with senior Trent Duffey scoring 23 points and junior Joe Otting adding 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
JUNCTION CITY (6-1, 5-1) at WASHBURN RURAL (4-3, 4-3)
Junction City is coming off its first loss of the year, a 70-54 Centennial League loss to unbeaten Highland Park, while Washburn Rural posted a 51-31 league road win at Manhattan. Senior Quincey Kidd led Rural with 19 points against Manhattan while junior Jack Bachelor added 11 points. Howard Johnson led Junction City with 14 points against Highland Park, one of three Blue Jays in double figures.
SHAWNEE HEIGHTS (6-1, 2-0) at TURNER (0-7, 0-2)
Shawnee Heights equaled its win total from the 2020-2021 season with Tuesday's 66-44 home United Kansas Conference victory over Leavenworth while Turner is coming off an 84-32 UKC loss to De Soto. Senior Nate Pewe scored 14 points and senior Carter Olson had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the T-Birds in the win over Leavenworth. Junior Jeremyah Kendrick added 13 points and sophomore Brennon Dodge 12 points for Heights.
SILVER LAKE (4-3) at RILEY COUNTY (2-5)
Silver Lake dropped a tough 52-49 decision to Wabaunsee on Tuesday while Riley County lost to St. Marys, 72-54. Junior Kamryn Kaniper scored 21 points and senior Troy Heiman added 12 points for the Eagles against Wabaunsee. Silver Lake will be looking for its second win of the season over the Falcons, with the Eagles taking a 52-41 decision over Riley County in their third game of the year.
ST. MARYS (7-1) at ROSSVILLE (1-6)
Rossville is coming off a 61-43 loss to Rock Creek on Tuesday while St. Marys rolled to a 72-54 decision over Riley County. Junior Kade Perine scored 17 points with five 3-pointers against Rock Creek while Aiden Garcia added nine points.
CAIR PARAVEL LATIN (5-1) at OLATHE HERITAGE CHRISTIAN (4-3)
Cair Paravel stretched its win streak to five games with last Friday's 62-42 win over Kansas City Christian while Heritage Christian is coming off an 85-64 victory over Bishop Seabury. Senior Noah Hastert had 16 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 blocked shots for the Lions in the win over KCC while Zach Clark has 13 points and Evan Will and Evan Everhart 10 points apiece. Carter Brian had six points and eight rebounds for the Lions.
