Friday night's game between the Wildcats and Spartans has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. Hayden has had two straight games postponed, with the Wildcats' Tuesday game against Topeka High also postponed.
MANHATTAN (3-5, 3-4) at SEAMAN (4-3, 4-3)
Friday night's game between the Vikings and Indians has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. Seaman has not played since a tough 43-38 Centennial League loss to unbeaten Topeka High last Friday.
HIGHLAND PARK (1-7, 0-7) at TOPEKA WEST (0-8, 0-7)
Highland Park is coming off a 43-41 Centennial League loss at Junction City on Tuesday while Topeka West dropped a 55-26 league decision at Emporia. Freshman Amelia Ramsey scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Highland Park against Junction City while sophomore Victoria Reed added 11 points and freshman Mariah Parker-Brown had 10 points with three 3-pointers. Junior Jazmyn Ford led Topeka West with 10 points and sophomore Zoe Clark added seven in the Chargers' loss to Emporia.
JUNCTION CITY (2-7, 2-5) at WASHBURN RURAL (6-1, 6-1)
Washburn Rural, ranked No. 7 in Class 6A by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 57-27 Centennial League romp at Manhattan on Tuesday while Junction City picked up its second win of the season, rallying for a 43-41 league win over Highland Park. Senior Emma Krueger paced Washburn Rural with 16 points against Manhattan while sophomore Zoe Canfield added 11 points, MaRyah Lutz nine and Brooklyn DeLeye eight points. Junction City had four players score between six and nine points in its win over Highland Park.
SHAWNEE HEIGHTS (4-2, 1-1) at TURNER (2-6, 0-2)
Shawnee Heights took a 50-38 United Kansas Conference decision over Leavenworth Tuesday and hosts Blue Valley Northwest in a non-league contest Thursday before losing out its busy week at Turner on Friday. Junior Emari Doby paced the T-Birds with 15 points against Leavenworth while junior Abby Fleischer and senior Zoe Oczko added 10 points apiece and Oczko also grabbed nine rebounds.
SILVER LAKE (7-0) at RILEY COUNTY (3-4)
Silver Lake, ranked fifth in Class 3A, remained undefeated on the season with a 55-23 victory over Wabaunsee Tuesday night while Riley County is coming off a 42-35 win over St. Marys. Silver Lake got 16 points and 10 rebounds from sophomore Makenzie McDaniel against Wabaunsee while soophomore McKinley Kruger added 11 points, sophomore Kaylee Deiter eight points and 12 rebounds and junior Taylor Ross eight points and nine rebounds,
ST. MARYS (3-5) at ROSSVILLE (4-4)
Rossville is coming off a 51-45 loss to Rock Creek while St. Marys is coming off a 42-35 loss to Riley County. Senior Caylee Douglass and sophomore Emma Mitchell scored 12 points each and hit five of six free throws against Rock Creek while sophomore Kinsey Perine added 10 points.
CAIR PARAVEL LATIN (2-4) at OLATHE HERITAGE CHRISTIAN (3-3)
Cair Paravel has won its last two games, including a 32-16 win over Kansas City Christian last Friday, while Heritage Christian is coming off a 42-10 win over Bishop Seabury. Senior Jaley Barkley led Cair Paravel with a game-high 11 points against Kansas City Christian while senior Lauren Drum added eight points.
