MANHATTAN (8-6, 2-2) at HAYDEN (6-6, 1-3)
Hayden was off Tuesday after a 58-51 non-league home loss to Shawnee Heights last Friday. Manhattan is coming off a 67-59 loss to Blue Valley, its third straight loss. Senior Joe Otting and junior Jacob Padilla scored 14 points apiece in the Wildcats' loss to Shawnee Heights, with Otting going six of six at the free throw line. Senior Jake Muller also cracked double figures for Hayden with 11 points.
EMPORIA (10-4, 3-1) at WASHBURN RURAL (10-4, 3-1)
Senior Jack Bachelor scored 27 points in Washburn Rural's 65-60 non-league victory over Blue Valley on Tuesday. Bachelor went nine of 13 from the field and six of seven from the free throw line against the Tigers while sophomore Kaden Ballard added 13 points while hitting four of seven 3-point attempts. Emporia is coming off a 41-39 win over Manhattan.
LEAVENWORTH (4-9, 2-8) at SHAWNEE HEIGHTS (10-4, 7-3)
Shawnee Heights posted a 57-48 United Kansas Conference road win at Basehor-Linwood on Tuesday, giving the T-Birds a regular-season sweep over the Bobcats. Sophomore Jaret Sanchez led Heights with 16 points while junior Brennon Dodge added 15 points, seniors Jeremyah Kendrick and Q Stovall eight points apiece and sophomore Deacon Pomeroy seven. Leavenworth has lost four straight games, including a 67-60 non-league loss to Bonner Springs on Tuesday. Heights beat Leavenworth 61-40 in an earlier game between the two teams.
HIGHLAND PARK (13-0, 6-0) at KC-WYANDOTTE (3-10, 3-4)
Highland Park, top-ranked in Class 5A, will be playing its third game in four days. The Scots are coming off a 79-48 Meadowlark Conference home win over KC-Schlagle Thursday night, with seniors Tre Richardson and Jahmir Kingcannon scoring 18 points apiece and senior Bo Aldridge adding 11 points. Kingcannon canned five 3-pointers on the night. Highland Park took a 95-42 win over Wyandotte earlier in the season. The Bulldogs are coming off a 65-62 league win over KC-Harmon on Tuesday.
WABAUNSEE (8-5, 2-3) at ROSSVILLE (6-8, 2-3)
Rossville is coming off a 64-56 Mid-East League loss to St. Marys while Wabaunsee dropped a 63-51 non-league game to Lyndon on Tuesday. Sophomore Brock Bush led Rossville with 16 points against St. Marys while Saint Mildren added 14 points and Jack Donovan 12. The Bulldawgs dropped a 58-45 league decision to St. Marys in an earlier contest.
TOPEKA HIGH (3-11, 0-4) at JUNCTION CITY (9-5, 3-1)
Topeka High was off Tuesday after picking up its third win of the season last Friday, with the Trojans taking a 67-63 non-league decision over Sunrise Christian Academy. Junction City is coming off a 61-49 non-league loss to Blue Valley Northwest. Senior Mason Gomez led Topeka High with 18 points against Sunrise while sophomore Da'Mykel Hales was right behind with 17 points.
SEAMAN (7-6, 4-5) at DE SOTO (12-2, 10-1)
Seaman had its four-game winning streak snapped by Piper on Tuesday, with the Pirates taking a 73-60 United Kansas Conference road win. The Vikings lost senior standout Kaeden Bonner to an injury early in the game. Viking freshman KaeVon Bonner scored a game-high 21 points for Seaman against Piper while senior Aron Davis added 18 points. De Soto, ranked No. 8 in Class 5A, has won six straight games, including an 84-38 UKC win over De Soto in its last start. The Wildcats beat Seaman 57-48 earlier this season.
TOPEKA WEST (11-3, 8-2) at KC-TURNER (1-11, 0-8)
No. 9-ranked Topeka West has won four straight games, including a 73-44 United Kansas Conference home romp past Lansing on Tuesday, the Chargers' third win this season over the Lions. Senior Sincere Austin led West with 21 points against Lansing Tuesday while hitting nine of 10 shots from the field. Senior Malachi Berg added 18 points, senior Xavier Alexander nine points and freshman Keimani Paul eight. Turner is coming off an 84-38 UKC loss to De Soto.
CAIR PARAVEL LATIN (6-8) at MARAIS DES CYGNES VALLEY (2-13)
Cair Paravel is coming off a 52-50 Kaw Valley Conference win over Kansas City Christian on Tuesday, with freshman Cameron Brian scoring a career-high 23 points with five 3-pointers and a four of four performance at the free throw line. Sophomore Jase Pavlik aded nine points and sophomore Ben Roeder eight for the Lions. Marais des Cygnes Valley is coming off a 42-23 loss to Cornerstone Family Schools.
SILVER LAKE (4-11, 3-3) at ST. MARYS (7-6, 5-1)
Silver Lake will be playing on back-to-back nights after dropping a 57-49 non-league decision to Clay Center Thursday night. St. Marys is coming of a 64-56 Mid-East League win over Rossville. Senior Troy Heiman led Silver Lake with 13 points in Thursday's loss to Clay Center while senior Braxton McDaniel addded 11 points and Jared Johnson nine.
