TOPEKA HIGH (13-4, 4-3) at WASHBURN RURAL (12-4, 7-0)

Washburn Rural protected its two-game lead in the Centennial League race with a 55-29 home league win over Hayden last Friday while Topeka High dropped a 37-31 league decision to Emporia. Seniors Brooklyn DeLeye and Chloe Carlgren scored 18 and 13 points for Washburn Rural in the win over Hayden while senior Kiki Smith led Topeka High with 15 points against Emporia. Rural took a 47-46 win over High in the first meeting between the two teams.

ATCHISON (9-7, 6-2) at HIGHLAND PARK (12-3, 7-0)

Highland Park is coming off a 67-31 non-league victory at Kansas City-Central, Mo. last Thursday while Atchison is coming off a 70-22 Meadowlark Conference win over KC-Harmon. Highland Park and Atchison have combined for 11 straight wins, with the Scots winning seven straight games and Atchison winning four straight. Highland Park took a 56-40 win over Atchison in an earlier meeting between the two teams. 

JUNCTION CITY (3-14, 0-7) at HAYDEN (10-6, 2-5)

Hayden bounced back from a 55-29 Centennial League loss to Washburn Rural last Friday night with a 55-16 non-league win at Tonganoxie on Monday. Sophomore Brylee Meier led Hayden with 11 points in the win over Tonganoxie while junior Lauren Sandstrom added 10 points and sophomore Kaliya Fulton nine. Junction City is coming off a 44-27 league loss to Manhattan. Hayden beat Junction City 37-27 in the first game between the Wildcats and the Blue Jays.

LANSING (3-13, 2-11) at SHAWNEE HEIGHTS (11-5, 9-3)

Shawnee Heights took a 43-26 home United Kansas Conference decision over Topeka West last Tuesday before having Friday night off. Senior Emari Doby and junior Breezy Canady scored 13 points each for the T-Birds against the Chargers. Lansing is coming off a 64-24 UKC loss to De Soto. Shawnee Heights beat Lansing 49-23 in the first meeting between the T-Birds and Lions.

DE SOTO (11-6, 9-5) at TOPEKA WEST (5-12, 4-9)

Topeka West dropped a 60-28 United Kansas Conference decision to top-ranked (Class 5A) and league-leading Seaman last Friday while De Soto rolled to a 64-24 UKC win over Lansing. Topeka West had eight players score against Seaman and was led by Imani McGlory with six points while Azaryah Duncan had five.De Soto beat Topeka West 58-38 in the first game between the Wildcats and Chargers.

SEAMAN (15-1, 11-1) at LEAVENWORTH (2-14, 2-10)

Top-ranked Seaman (Class 5A) is coming off a 60-28 non-league win over Topeka West on Friday while Leavenworth is coming off a 34-24 UKC loss to Basehor-Linwood. Junior Taylin Stallbaumer scored 23 points and hit four 3-pointers in Seaman's win over Topeka West. Seaman beat Leavenworth 60-26 in the first game between the Vikings and Pioneers.

CAIR PARAVEL LATIN (5-12, 2-5) at MARANATHA ACADEMY (2-10, 1-5)

Cair Paravel Latin picked up its fifth win of the season last Friday, routing Bishop Seabury, 56-9. Nine Lions scored at least four points against Seabury, led by freshman KellAnn Chada with 12 points and Abby Kuder with eight. Maranatha Academy and Cair Paravel are 1-1 in two previous games this season, with Cair Paravel taking a 38-17 win in the most recent meeting.

ROSSVILLE (12-5, 4-4) at WABAUNSEE (3-13, 0-8)

Rossville is coming off a 76-61 loss to Mid-East League rival Silver Lake last Friday while Wabaunsee dropped a 37-27 league decision to Riley County. Freshman Rylee Dick led Rossville with 18 points against Silver Lake while juniors Emma Mitchell and Kinsey Perine added 14 points apiece. Rossville rolled to a 74-48 win over the Chargers in an earlier meeting this season.
