Twelve state qualifiers, including 10 state medalists in three different classes, comprise the 2026 All-City boys tennis team.
Cair Paravel Latin senior singles player Drew Fay, a four-time Class 3A-1A state qualifier and three-time state medalist, posted a city-high fifth-place state finish while Lion freshman Jonah Arnold finished 12th in singles as Cair Paravel finished fourth as a team.
Four city doubles teams also earned state medals in 6A and 5A.
Washburn Rural's senior doubles teams of Kieffer O'Connor and Ben Tryhus and Cale Deutscher and Kieffer O'Connor finished ninth and 10th, respectively, in 6A while Topeka West sophomore Collin McGee and junior Zander Rice and Seaman seniors Dayton Schneider and Owen Stewart finished ninth and 10th in 5A doubles.
Rounding out the All-City team are Topeka High senior singles player Tres Lassiter and Washburn Rural junior singles player Greyson Jones.
Lassiter was a runnerup in city, Centennial League and 6A regional tournaments before posting a 2-2 record at state while Jones was the city champion in No. 2 singles and went on to qualify for state while helping the Junior Blues capture city, league and regional championships.

JONAH ARNOLD, Cair Paravel Latin -- A freshman, Arnold earned a state medal in his first Class 3A-1A state tournment Saturday in Priairie Village, posting a 12th-place singles finish to help the Lions finish fourth as a team. Arnold was the city champion in No. 2 singles and qualified for state with a fourth-place finish in the 3A-1A regional at Kossover Tennis Center.
CALE DEUTSCHER, Washburn Rural -- Deutscher, a senior, teamed with senior Dylan Willingham to earn a Class 6A state doubles medal for the second straight season. Deutscher and Willingham finished 10th on Saturday in Wichita after finishing seventh in 2025. Deutscher and Willingham won city and regional doubles championhips and finished second in the Centennial League meet as Rural swept city, league and regional team titles. Deutscher is a three-time All-City pick.
DREW FAY, Cair Paravel Latin -- A senior singles player, Fay capped an outstanding four-year high school career with a city-high fifth-place finish in the Class 3A-1A state tournament Saturday in Prairie Village. Fay was a four-year state qualifier and a three-time state medalist, with a high of second in doubles in 2025. Fay captured the city championship in No. 1 singles and also won a regional title. Fay is a three-time All-City pick.
GREYSON JONES, Washburn Rural -- A junior, Jones earned his spot on the All-City team with a third-place finish in No. 1 singles after winning the No. 2 city singles championship as a sophomore. Jones finished third in the Centennial League and qualified for the Class 6A state tournament with a fourth-place regional finish as the Junior Blues captured team championships in city, Centennial League and regional competition.
TRES LASSITER, Topeka High -- Lassiter, a senior, is a repeat All-City pick after finishing as the singles runnerup in city, Centennial League and Class 6A regional tournaments before posting a 2-2 record in the 6A state tournament at Wichita. Lassiter captured the city title in No. 1 singles as a junior and posted a runnerup singles finish in the Centennial League and Class 6A regional tournaments.
COLLIN McGEE, Topeka West -- McGee, a sophomore, teamed with junior Zander Rice to earn his first Class 5A state medal in his second state appearance with a ninth-place finish in Saturday's state tournament in Andover. McGee and Rice finished second in the city, United Kansas Conference and 5A regional tournaments.
KIEFFER O'CONNOR, Washburn Rural -- O'Connor, a senior, teamed with senior Ben Tryhus to win the city championship in No. 2 doubles for the second straight season before winning the Centennial League doubles title, finishing second at regionals and posting a ninth-place state finish in Saturday's 6A state tournament at Wichita. O'Connor and Tryhus qualified for the state tournament for the second staight year.
ZANDER RICE, Topeka West -- A junior doubles player, Rice teamed with sophomore Collin McGee to earn his first Class 5A state medal with a ninth-place finish in Saturday's state tournament in Andover. Rice and McGee finished second in the city, United Kansas Conference and 5A regional tournaments this spring.
DAYTON SCHNEIDER, Seaman -- Schneider, a senior doubles player, teamed with fellow Seaman senior Owen Stewart to finish 10th in the Class 5A state tournament Saturday at Andover. Schneider and Stewart finished third in the city meet in No. 1 doubles before finishing third in the United Kansas Conference and 5A regional tournaments as the Vikings won UKC and regional team titles.
