BRODY ANDERSON, Seaman
A senior track star, Anderson won a pair of individual wins in Friday's Leitel Legacy Invitational at Lawrence Free State. Anderson, a returning Class 5A state medalist, won the 800 meters in 1 minute, 53.37 seconds and came back later to win the 3,200 in 9:11.63. Both of Anderson's winning times were personal records.
BRANDT BEEBY, Washburn University
Beeby, a junior baseball player from Tulsa, Okla., went 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and a run batted on Sunday as Washburn University took a rain-delayed 6-3 MIAA win over Emporia State at Steve Anson Stadium to claim the series win.

JACOB FRATZEL, Washburn University
A standout men's golfer for the Ichabods, Fratzel was named an All-MIAA first-team selection and the conference freshman of the year after leading Washburn to a second-place finish in the MIAA Tournament. A St. James Academy product, Fratzel helped WU earn an NCAA Regional berth, posting six top-10 individual finishes, including a seventh-place finish in the MIAA tourney.
KAELYN GERDEL, Hayden
Gerdel continued her outstanding junior swimming season with a pair of wins in last Wednesday's Hayden Invitational at the Capitol Federal Natatorium. Gerdel won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2 minutes, 12.32 seconds and won the 100 breaststroke in 1:16.48, establishing personal bests in both events.
PEYTON GOEHRING, Washburn Rural
A senior, Goehring won the city individual boys golf championship Monday at Topeka Country Club, shooting a 77 and winning on the first hole of a playoff with teammate Keaton Stoner as Washburn Rural stretched its city title streak to 16 straight seasons with a nine-stroke victory over Seaman.
SAVANNAH NELSON, Seaman
A senior, Nelson scored a pair of goals for Seaman soccer in last Tuesday's 5-0 shutout win over city and United Kansas Conference rival Shawnee Heights as the Vikings improved to 6-0-2 on the season.
